Trip to denmark

After getting my license back from our last trip of April when we visited Hartge, Kelleners and the Hockenheim race circuit there I took my role as an amateur racecar driver a little bit too serious on my way back home to Sweden, when I got caught for doing 200 km/h at a 110 km/h road. That resulted in that my license got suspended for four months. After a really boring summer without a license, the autumn of the year begun quite well. To this meeting I took a flight from Stockholm to Copenhagen and was picked up on the airport by the Swedish M5 owners. When flying you don't loose your license...

We had a meeting of 12 "new" M5, one M Roadster, one M3 3,2 Convertible, one Alpina B8 4,6 Coupe, one Z8 and one brand new Porsche 996 Turbo. Five of us went from Sweden to meet the BMW Club of Denmark and fellow BMW owners in Copenhagen.

Here we have the 996 Turbo to the left and the Z8 to the right. These two cars costs almost the same, but of course with national differences. In Denmark the same car cost three times as much as in Sweden.

Here we have the gathering fo cars. Some people were quite surprised, the amount of M5 gathered here in Copenhagen are about 50% of the total amount of sold M5s in Denmark.
Here is a nice picture of a Arktissilver M5 besides a Z8. You don't have to have a degree in Automotive Design to conclude that the Z8 design is much more futuristic. But nicer?
The M5 have Hartge Nova 20' wheels and Kelleners exhausts.

Here we have a Oxfordgruen (Individual color) M3 3,2 Convertible (321 HP) with Modena Natur interior. Also a Mercedes 600 showed up. Very rare! Notice the dual tailpipes.
Above is the M5s we had on the trip to Germany this fall. The one to the left have the AC Schnitzer 19' Racing Wheel Type III with Porsche brake discs front and rear. The M5 to the right has the Hartge '20 originally designed for the 7 series, but with some modifications possible to fit on the 5 series. This particular car is also equipped with Kelleners Engine kit, with new cams. So the power is up around 50 HP and top speed is now 303 km/h.
