Manual gearbox for the USA market and SMG as an option? Latest news: confirmed by BMW NA
2005-01-08 - Big news! After some rumours BMW NA finally confirms there is a M5 E60 manual gearbox in development, but not ready for launch at the same time as the SMG-version. Please see here for the post by BMW North America. Click here to see the official post by BMW NA.
See the screenshot from bmwusa.com site. The information first surfaced on a Saturday but all information was then taken down from the BMW USA site the following Sunday.
